Wierd... I have taken a very similar shot with my S1 IS. Same butterfly - which is very strange considering I live in New Mexico and this was in Ottawa.

I don't know my moths, so I can't help with the type. However, it is very pretty and blends in with the background so well. Todd, you have captured the subtle details in the moth wonderfully. Great composition.
