Wow Margaret - I had another crop that eliminated that petal and you are right it does look better. How in the world do you put a gold filter on something? Sure do like the effect - makes the flower really zing! Jan

Good job Jan this is a really pretty rose. I like the tighter crop also, good lighting and presention.

Janice this is such a beautiful composition and great depth of colour and tones and sharpness in the petals. I found my eye a tiny bit detracted by the small area bottom right that was blurred in comparison to the rest. I tried a bit of a crop and put a gold filter on as well, see if you like. Oh I do love those orange edges gorgeous Margaret
