Excellent Bob, I love alnmouth (and all of our northumberland coast and hills), there's something about the deserted and spirtual nature of our wonderful land! Just been out in the hills tonight!
This photo is very skillfully undertaken. I know how hard it is to capture bird flight. I think you must have had, 1000/2000 of a second for this one. You've snapped it beautifully, and no need for any elaborate PS stuff! You don't need it with a an image as good as this original. A certain 7.
I read your bio, and it reminded me of using my dad's 127 browing, as a kid. Threading the film into that was trial and error! A bit different to digital now!
I much appreciate you commenting on so many of my photos. I'm glad you like them.
Regards
Colin

Someone must be fishing here cause the gulls are surely circling! A tad bit underexposed, makes me wonder what is over on the other side of the water? Love the circling birds and the sparkly water and the boats add to the atmosphere! :)

I do -- strong horizontal bands broken by the boats. Nice detail with the birds. It is all pleasingly atmospheric.
