Dear Kevin,
This time I could see the movie. I think it's one of the best animations I've seen recently. Your Stickman has all the atributes of superman, with a smile. I love movies that don't take themselves too seriousely and in this context I would like to recommend Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a thriller with a smile. This is the impression I got from your Stickman too.
Well done,
Rafi

Very nice lighting, beautiful colours.

You say a ring-flash was used. Looking at it, I must assume it was used off-camera. Am I right? If so, may i congratulate you on the foresight to take a ringflash off camera? Most appropriate in this case, but sometimes the appropriate is not immediately obvious.

I'm behind, trying to get caught up with my comments. So, don't have time to comment on each individual one. I have enjoyed looking at them, though. This is very striking. Beautiful contrast. Eligantly presented.

I also want to thank you for your wonderful comments, too. It's not often that someone will write more than a sentence on anything. If you're interested, you can see what I'm interested in at www.guerillafilmsociety.com/featured.html My short animation, 'Stikman Returns' is showcased on this website. I'd be interested to know what you think about it.

Have a good weekend,
Kevin

Indeed, we meet again, Dr. Rafi! I read your bio and visited your website, and it appears that you have led quite the interesting career, dealing with schitzophrenic patients all the time. I took a psychology class at my university last year, although it was only an introductory course, so we didn't delve to deeply on any particular subject. I must say, though, it was one of my favorite classes I've taken in my three years of college. Sorry about this segmented message, but It wouldn't let me send a long one.

I have to say I love the way you chose to light it from the side, it gives the flower a moody, dark feel to it, which is contrary to the way most photographers capture flowers, which is often rather... flowery. :) I also love the detail your camera was able to capture, it makes for a stunning image.

Interesting effect from the ring flash - a lot of side lighting. I like the effect on the barbs.

I think that for this shot even the ring flash is not covering the whole subject, with some interesting effects.
