My second favourite castle on the Northumbrian coast! I have a shot of the near tower takne from down where the grassy slope is on the far left of the image - I wanted this one (or something similar) but the day was so murky!!! Love ths one - clear crisp details, and those gulls really add to the image. I don't know why but it sems to have a seventies feel to it!! Superb!

Looks like a very interesting place to photograph ruins. The birds add life and I like the one in the foreground with its tail fanned and beak ready to catch something out of that breaker. Nice!
