Hi Lex, sorry it has taken a while to reply to your comment (my computer been misbehaving this past week).
To be honest I can't remember now exactly what I did with this in PS now... I know I used the dodge tool for the sky (can't remember if I altered the contrast, though it is one of my fav tools) I Can see what you are saying though... I do tend to over do some things... guess thats because I'm showing things from my viewpoint... some peeps go crazy with the sharpness of the image... with me I guess it's a contrast thing... lol
Thank you once more... your comments are greatly appreciated & any constructive critisism is always welcome... for this is how we improve.

Wonderfull shot and a more than wonderfull poem. You really got talent for wrighting! the poem really really fits the picture, when i saw the picture i immidiatly got a 'slowmotion' chilling feeling. Wonderfull how you combine the two! As for the picture, it is a wonderfull quite landscape shot with a nice blue quite sky, wonderfull. I think you used a little bit PS, to make the constrast higher.. (or im wrong) but that could have been kept a little lower i think, now there is a white mask hanging over the picture. But no hard feelings, becose it is still a Wonderfull shot and a Fantastic poem!!! My compliments.
Greets, Lex.

Reminds me of a recent walk along to Barnard Castle, warm day, undulating hills and a lovely fluffy sky.
the poem is really good - sums up the perfect countryside day!

With a beautiful scene like that, who would want the day to die? I don't know which is more creative, the poem or the picture. Both are wonderful works of creativity.

Thanks Al... this is taken just outside of Alnwick castle & is a different viewpoint of the Pastures... the two banks either side of the photo are part of the old moat.
Thanks also for the feedback on my poem... I put that together over 5 years ago now & it remains one of my favourites & best to this day.
