Yamil: Since this was in the Galapagos, the birds are extremely tame and you can walk right up to them. This one was about five feet away and not at all worried by my presence.

your choice of fous is well complimented here, the single eye staring out is very forceful, even if he was a fairly calm bird. Great shot!

Fantastic image, Fred. The light is perfect and brings out lots of detail in the beak and feathers.
Once could be pedantic and say parts of the head are overexposed, but I think the exposure is actually pretty much spot on, with nice details in the shadow part of the beak and face.
The eye of the bird is particularty nice.
