As a cat lover I have to like this image and even moreso as an Architectural Photographer I like it also for it's graphic effects with the railing.

Great pic Petal, love the framing within framing, and the big eyed look you got from the cat, as if he/she is wondering what you doing looking at him/her. Nice as blk&wht,emphasizing the rail and cat against a non background,good spotting!. its look is so curious... according to me you had a butterfly that flew around you and he aimed it...
photo full of irregular geometries or vertical lines, from the sketch of the mantle of the cat to the handrail of the balcony...

No... the cat was sizing you up to see if you were lunch! Thats a hunting expression lol! That railing the cat is behind is fabulous - the strong dark geometric shapes against the light background looks fab... Also like the round attachment of the railing to the patio.... Excellent!
