Oi Angelo, tava olhando as tuas outras fotos nossa que lindas. Eu sou apaixonada por fotografia mas sinceramente ultimamente so tenho usado a minha digital, comeco um curso de fotografia semana que vem em Manhattan entao quando tiver trabalho com a minha SLR eu ponho aqui. Mais uma vem parabens pelas suas fotos sao belissimas. Ah, tem piranha no Rio Sao Francisco sim em Penedo tem muitas mas nao na parte baixa do rio so no meio mesmo.

Ha! Now I'm going to blame you... usually I get about 300 odd views for an image with a featured comment, but this time only 185. It's all down to your poor comment...
Hahaha! I jest... Thanks again for the comment, Ameed. Next time I'm taking a landscape I'll ask myself "What would Ameed do" and include more sky :)

Hahaha... Luis, tenho certeza que nao eram piranhas. Uns lambaris (?) bem pequeninos. Nao há piranhas no Rio Sao Francisco, que eu saiba. Só bem mais ao oeste, no pantanal.

I am so glad you made the front page again... I love this one... The composition is excellent... Lovely view...
Following Ameed's thoughts, I think I should have left a little bit more of the sky... Not much more... Nevertheless rocks, water, trees. colors. etc are awesome...
I downloaded it and try to play cropping and it does not work for me without sky as you suggested Ameed in your responce to him.. :)

Hi Angelo,
Actually I wouldn't like you building your decision on my thoughts only, so my recommendation is to take 2 pictures for the same subject, one with sky, one without, upload them both, and ask the members to comment on which one they like the most, from there you can go on,
Honest feed back from our members in here would be a definite guidance,

In every composition, it is important to decide how much sky to include, versus how much land. These photos, for me, are about the land, the foreground.
Maybe you have something, though. Having included the sky, I have drawn attention to it. My response in this case, is that perhaps I should have taken the sky out completely.
What do you think?

Wonderfully peacful scene Angelo. I love the little tree in the foreground - really provides a good focal point for the image. I apologise for not commenting of late but have been somewhat busy with things so am now catching up!
