Well I just noticed that I actually got a second award last Feb. How strange since I used to see a 1 there all the time (at least I THINK I did). Never even knew it (but I still think some of my other work is better) Well, that's nice......hmmmm, very strange......

Yeah well it was a "Sentimental" win (WTC -NY) and it was about ten years ago. I have much better shots then that but I also have / had strong views so...... (I've learned to not express them on UF anymore) - loose lips / sink ships - as they say....

Hey thanks! I really dig the color too..I wasn't sure anyone would "get it"...I desaturated a little for a muted 70's kind of feel...something about this shot reminds me ofmy own childhood.

She is too cute! Don't ya love those little cheekies! I have two toddlers and can't get enough of those baby faces :) Adorable photo! Now for the technical stuff, easy 7! The simple background, bold frame, sideways glance captured and the overall composition has a uniqueness. At first I thought this was a fisheye lens but when I opened it up I saw it's just taken straight on. Well done!
