Hey Gayle,
I learned French for 7 years at school ;-)
le probleme est que je ne parlait pas le francais pur dix ans ;-)
in other words: if you don't speak the language actually, it won't help to have lessons in school =)
My Spanish and Italian is very limited and just good enough to handle the daily life. same goes for Holland.

Your birthday was March 17? Happy belated birthday,Thilo!...that is funny that you say my syntax is very english because that is why i can't seem to learn other languages!...my brain won't accept a different line-up!..LOL..thanks for the translation button ;> How many languages do you speak?

Hi Gayle,
"Sweetie" gibt es auch in Deutschland =) Mein Geburtstag ist am 17.3., also schon vorbei.
Dein Deutsch ist eigentlich gut, nur der Satzbau (the syntax) ist stark Englisch. So you have to scramble the words a bit and then everything is great!

hi, a little confused about "DOF is a bummer"? Here,"bummer" means "not good".......the dof in this image is what it is in the original and picked up a bit of the swirl when i applied a small degree of distortion in paintshop.....thanks for the comment,Thilo...regards,gayle

I feel the shot and the poem go together very well. I like the effects you did to the shot - I'm sure this slightly abstract approuch is much more eye catching then the original color version (and always spot on with your composition). Nice work as usual ! Hope all is well, Mark
