Terrific shot, Rebecca. Even with the fence the scene has a lot of openness to it. This comes about from your skills as a photographer.

As an old Kansas farm boy this does not bring back "good" memories. I can hear my father sending me out to repair that crocked post. I always got scratched by one of those barbs. You did an outstanding job of capturing the wires. Del.

I may have been just a fence at one time, but now it's a work of art! What a great eye you have! Very striking! Carolyn

I also did a bw conversion Manu, which was what I intended when I took the shot. But somehow the colors appealed me also. I'll post the bw version later for you to see. Thanks as always :)

Wonderful details and beautiful contrasts. I love the clouds and the blue of the sky against the brown grasses and fence. Great perspective. Alison

Hi Rebecca
I like this shot in color but I find the clouds are too blown for the image. Having had a little play with it I gave it a more rustic look....just an idea? It would be great to hear what you wanted out of the shot...?
Cheers for all the comments and I think you might be right about the frame on "Balance" as it looks a little heavy for the subject.
All the best
Manu
