p.s. I should have written that he will be close to Dubai when he visits UAE. He'll be about an hour away in Ras Al Khaimah (also spelled in places "Ras Alkhamia.") -- I just realized you thought I was saying that Dubai is close to UAE...lol.

Thanks Amna, we will visit the linked site. This I did know about Dubai (that it is a city), but that is about all I know and I'm excited to learn more about your part of the world. Glad to see you around again . Dubai is a city in UAE ;-)He will be visiting in the hottest month of the year! The weather is not pleasant for outdoor activity these days it is really hot. However, we have Dubai summer surprise with lots of events in all shopping malls in Dubai. There lots of thing to do and see, but all depends in what he likes to do. You can check this site with him to see the hottest events during the time he will be in Dubai

I like the grainy texture of the image. The composition is excellent and so is the exposure. It has a very dramatic feel to it with the little boy running towards the girl who is staring out at the window. The composition is enhanced by the diagonal lines created by the floor tiles and wall. The image looks simple but evokes a very complex feeling. Excellent work Amna.
