Thank you. This is my favorite wedding shot...ever. I couldn't believe the awe in the little girl as she reached out, and I saw it building to this moment, and had my finger on the shutter.
She was SO tender and respectful in touching what would 'someday be her'. It was awesome. ;)

Yeah, I debated it, and ended up including the elbow, since you could imagine them holding hands, and exchanging vows.
She had her hand there for about 3 seconds, before one of the bridesmaids' reached over and pulled her back. I saw it developing, and was ready to POUNCE on the shot.
I like the border, to emphasize the pink. I'm gonna have to play with it some more. Thanks, Gayle!!

oh yeah, forgot to add that wish bride's elbow was a long arm down length of dress instead because i find it distracting, but to clone out wouldn't be easy,at least to me,and take away that she is a live person in photo...do you like the crop?...gayle

Perfect timing & vision. It's images & moments like this that seperates the photojournalist from a person with a camera...

Good Candid capture.....Fort Sam Houston? why does that sound familiar to me? Is that a town close to S.A. our a venue in town? (might have to get my giant, back breaking Atlas out) Let me know if you see this, Mark

Warm is fine on the wedding dress, it's natural light! (better than 'blown out' white that has no detail at all!! :) I love the position of her little hand!!! I've always loved these kind of candids, they're great. Nice capture Paul,
Lori ;)

Oh, thanks for the reminder; I'll add in my About that I did use Neat Image to reduce the chroma noise.

Armando, This was photograhped at ISO 1600, to take advantage of the soft light coming in from the top of the domed window. I did use my Speedlite 580, but only when I had to, and my best shots were lit by bouncing off the ceilings and walls. Letting me know where YOU think you need help would be a good starting point.
