Bon jour, drilan. It's not at all painful to read your "black" essays. There was not much thinking behind my comment about moving Quebec. Maybe my subconscious mind in opposition to my son, who stayed a year in Laval and is very familiar with your point of view.
But I understand very well what you mean with the language. I worked for a German company and had to do with Americans and if only one from there attended a meeting, all of us had to speek the white language. Sometimes we feeled it a bit ridiculous.
But you are basically right when you say that one should not comment on the politics of other countries. We in Austria suffered a bit in the recent past from this as well.
If your neighbours would respect this principle too, we might live in a better world maybe. Maybe not. Who knows.
Pas de politique, comme a dit un certain commentateur italien, que l'on apprécie, à propos de votre gros mot sur le réchauffement, c'est la réalité, that's all!
