I can almost feel the heat radiating from this image. The rocks are so sharp they might cut you just by looking at them! Maybe you are taking the stopping to smell the roses too serious as I don't think I'd stop on that road to take this shot (too my loss).

Great how you can follow the (greay gravel... ;-D) road 'down' the picture!!! And yes: what a contrast, not a speck of green to be seen (hey that rhymes.... LOL) just a lot of brown and grey and a bright blue sky.... well captured!!!

That is hot - no wonder no greenery and yes it is a great contrast - but an interesting compositin like the way the way the eye is draw into the road and along it
