Very nicely detailed Bee shot, Larry. I can understand using the lens on the camera but I thought you had these bees on retainer to pose whenever you needed them :-) Very well done! Larry Q

Always room to learn Bob...this type of shot is always catch as catch can with little or no preparation...so I'll see what I get next time...Thanks

Larry, substance outweighs technicals every time in my book. I'm sure you will remember all the help suggested here the next time you find a bee doing that,...Right! Bob

Hey sometimes you shoot with the lense in hand!...I've never been able to get these guys to pose for long...The yellow thingy that you weren't sposed to ask about is a very close to the lense flower..Margaret fixed it...a kinda hit & miss shot...Thanks Linda...

Larry how about avoiding the yelling about the bright yellow spot and crop it and do a little tweak her and there LOL :) :) great capture of the bee - nice detail he sure is holding on to make sure he doesn't miss a bit of pollen Margaret

Very nice Larry, but a little noisy...what ISO did you use? And what is that yellow upper right corner thingy...oh woops, you made me do that...hehehehe, just kidding....how come you're not using your new macro lens for this kind of shot? I love the colors and the minimal dof...very nice...:):)linda

Hmmm, not your best macro. The bokeh is very disturbing and the shot is very noisy. Did you try to set the ISO higher? To get a wider DOF?
