Again OMG!, you're so consistently good, so effective in catching these magnificent birds in flight. Now, I saw your Pelican using the 'ground effect,' and now you mention 'One Flap Down' and show the look of worry on the birds face (cause the other flap didn't deploy!)... Hmmm you seem to know a lot about flying my friend. I have a pilot's license but cannot imagine myself chasing after a bird from a Cessna or a Piper... maybe an ultralight? ...Absolutely excellent work..Gab

Thanks Rui Pedro. Actually this was not my best bird lens, this was the 100-400L zoom lens, I use also the 400mm F/4 prime, now that is a very nice lens....

Thanks Fabrizio, Yes I use AI Servo to track the bird and try to keep the camera panning at the same speed as the bird, I always use continous mode and shoot a burst of shots, AV mode also as I can set my app and the camera keeps the shutter speed up....

...Hi Marcus....I would like to be able to capture such a beautiful bird....but you know It's so difficult to find out them where I live...where I usually go to the mountain you Have to spend a lot of time waiting the bird passing...Do you use the All servo focus (I guess)...and what about the shot...one shot or multi shot and then you choise the best one?
....Take care Marcus
regards Fabrizio
