Hi Alastair,thanks! It's been a real challenge taking shots of the band,most pubs are terribly lit,this is the only one to have decent lighting & they don't play there very often! Great idea forming a usefilm band,what an awesome jam that would be!Have already suggested to Marky to come play downunder,maybe you could stow away & help me take the pics! :)

Another UF member in a band! Thats at least three now! Mark Evans and Howard Page are all musicians too! At this rate there'll be enough to form a UF band!
Great shot Jacquie... love the way you've used Mikes head to block the light and create the light beams. Well done!

I love the Universe. I have one, as well. I have the most boring of them all - the all black version. I got it for a great deal, though - I was in Seattle for a trip with my music class went to a Guitar Center and found one for $250 - nearly flawless. I took care of the boring exterior by giving it a custom paint-job - the kind of paint that changes color when you move the guitar - it looks killer.

Good spotting bud, it is a Universe. black/green two-tone paint(what's left of the paint!). I've also got a Korn series 7 string for a back-up, a '63 re-issue Strat. The Universe is my fav though. It's going through a Peavey 5150 if you're interested. Just had a quick look at your portfolio and gonna go back and look some more. You've got some good work up here!Well done!

No I disagree about the sharpness, I think the slight out of focus helps bring the photo to life. Great use of colour and lighting.
