Hey Mervo,
thanks for your adjustments. I really like how you've brought out the wool on his body, it totally brings back memories of patting him, but I still like his face more when it's a bit softer, depends what look you're going for at a particular moment I guess, 'cause soft he looks "pretty" and in your version he's rougher, perhaps with more character. Thanks for the ideas for next time!

Ahah it missed half of my post off!
I'll try again, just set the levels and added quite a lot of unsharp mask (to bring out the hair). Put the photo on my site because I can only upload a very small attatchment here and it doesn't show the adjustments well.

Hi Nadia, I know how difficult pet shots are, planned or not it's always fun trying to catch them at the right moment!
I had a play with this in photoshop to see if the wool could be "brought out" a little more, not sure if it has or not.
Hope you don't mind :)

he has so a sweet face and look :)) makes me smile....
I would take f2,8, so the background is blur, focus on the eyes. I have also a dog, so I know a dog portrait is difficult:)
