This store did a thriving business in the 50's and early 60's so I was told. But with the advent of new roads and bigger and more attractive Gasoline stations, HOGAN'S fell to new attitudes and service. The building still stands, Gasoline Pumps Gone of course.
This exhibits tight control and an easy working knowledge of the scene and what was expected from it. The placement of the subject and horizon make this image work and elevate it from the snapshot category.
I've been out of usefilm for a (long) while, but I'm thinking of coming back because . . . well, what else is there?
