Dear Sam I am not exper about Lizard of iran but in firs view , it is simillar to Laudica caucasia that it is common in North of Iran

Beautiful presentation of an excellent capture sam. The earth colors are beautiful, the focus and dof perfect, and the composition with the reptile jutting his head above the stone very well done. Nice touch to frame him between the two green weeds. I like it!!! ..Gab
