melanie... you caught a wonderful moment. your pov and cropping are terrific. two comments: i would ps out the wires with the lights on them. at night they may be terrific, but during the day they are just wires. also, roll up your photoshop sleeves and get rid of that other photographer at her right hip. beautful job... david

Make sure your jpeg settings are set for 70-80 percent, and you shouldn't see much artificting, Melanie.
We're just onlookers; the important version is the print delivered to the bride, and this is nicely shot and wonderfull filtered. Good moment.

Far from stink Melanie. I think the photo is brillant. The angle is wonderful. It feels very joyous and festive. The bride in the foreground and her father in the background with his/her arms stretched out make it appear as if the father is setting her free to start her new life. A beautiful image.
