This snapshot is good but could be better to clone the building at the left side with the sky

> great color in strong composition

Thanks Mohamed. Lucky with the weather, and also the utter failure of the shoelace industry to produce shoelaces that work. I had been wondering about ways to include the block of flats in a photo.

Neil,

Thanks for this.

Do you want to elaborate on this?
I am sensing that I know what you are driving at: it is essentially dull (man tying his shoelaces), and that dullness is what gives a certain fascination (man tying his shoelaces in exceptional circumstances next to huge artistic monument rusting in autumn sunshine)...

And the pull of asymmetry grips one a bit.
Maybe.

> opportune moment?

No, no intervention on my part here. I was just standing there with my camera, completely clueless as usual.

Hola Tony,

> Me gusta esta toma

Gracias por tu comentario, maestro!
El hecho de que te golpeó ésta imagen es interesante así que yo ando pensando que es casi solamente a mí que fascinan tales imagenes - típicamente con un desequilibrio torpe y aparentemente poco de sustancia.

Abrazos
Paul

Normally I'd have been quite critical of the composition here, but somehow the shapes, colurs and subject make it all balance out just right.

Excellent capture.

Do tell - did you stage it or was it an opportune moment?
