About This one of four Art Deco-ish statues supporting a gazebo on Hollywood Boulevard. They allegedly represent four film stars of four different races. but none looks remotely like the woman it's named for. This, for instance, is called "Mae West." However, they're quite striking, and framed this way, "Mae" reminds me of the great Mucha poster of Sarah Bernhardt as "Medea" (shown below).
