About My tiny veggie and salad garden was doing so well. Last night a deer made a visit and enjoyed a "healthy" meal of green bean leaves, green tomatoes, baby pepper, baby cucumbers garnished with cucumber blossoms, beet and carrot tops, and spinach. (I am not sure what kind of dressing). Now that it has found it, I am sure it will be back. Hard to believe since I live in an old fully developed suburb of Washington DC. It is enough to make me look into joining the NRA. I can look on the bright side I guess, it does not like Amaryllis Bulb tops. Oh well...I suppose it was here first so maybe is just getting even......

You could always decide to dine out. I remember a great snackbar in the Silverspring area (or was it Bethesda?), but that was about 35 years ago LOL

Damn Deer, just shoot it Del, one way or the other. But I think you've just found a Deer friend ha ha.

Looking at what disappeared from the menu I think I might have been tempted too lol

Best wishes,

Don't complain Del, just get out there (all night if must) with the camera. Just think about our wildlife book. If I can get pictures of snakes, what's a little deer.

We see them here all the time, but luckily they don't jump my fence and eat things in my yard, but I have to agree with Dave for a photo opportunity! Your garden does make a nice photo though!

Looks to me like an opportunity for a "wildlife" shot, Del!
