Yes, that 2nd option would certainly lend to not getting the best angle as it's hard to chew and focus at the same time! :) Hope you get to eat there often!

I see the perspective you were trying to show. What I was trying to do was follow the skateboarder's shadow. By contrast, in the right frame of the picture there are people who are looking at an upwards angle. Rather than make it seem like they have tilted their head too far upwards, I found a common ground between them and used this angle.

Or I could just tell you I was in a pizza parlor having the best slice of my life in one hand with a camera in the other.

You pick which explanation you like best. Thanks for the feedback.

Interesting shot here. My only suggestion is to get the horizon line straightened out (but it's pretty far tilted and will cut off a little of the photo).
I like the action you captured of a "normal" day in the city. Well done. I attached the straightened version below:
