I like the feeling that this is a young Atlas shouldering the world. The strengths of this image are numerous. The concept is strong, and the child has such a naturally serious expression that it really looks like he is shouldering responsibility beyond his years. It is nice to see all the garden details in the reflection too; it adds a lot of interest.

My only hesitation here is the selective desaturation. The concept, execution, etc. are so strong that the selective black/white/color is not needed to isolate the subject or to make the message clear. I'd love to see this as in the original form.
