What an interesting shot. As if they're staring into the vignette center. Perfect use of negative space.
If no PS, then your lens has some serious vignetting problems.

No PS used? Then that light fall-off is all from the lens??? Whoa!
Very good scene, Mark, and very well composed, too! I like the extreme placement of the couple. It's like they are there to give moral support to each other, going into the deep blue.
p.s. What's with all the macho-man talk?
