About Funny story behind this one,at least to me ;> ...same night i shot the Tall ships...at first i wanted to quickly shoot off the few frames "i thought remained" and did the photographer's 360 dance to see what appealed to me...saw this and the stairs with the blue bottle and a few others i haven't posted yet...luckily,i noticed the film wasn't rewinding because it wasn't my usual 24,but was a roll of 36!!!..LOL..i was losing the sunset light quickly and found out the ships were waaaaaaaaay further down than where i was,so sprinted down to them and used the remaining film ...changes in paintshop pro8....critiques/comments appreciated

Hi Gayle, i think Neal has hit it on the head about your style :) I couldn't have said it better myself, so i'll just say "keep it up" thanks for all your comments and support and for being a friend.

Best wishes Neil (i'm the one with an "i") :)

I love this! And I can't even say exactly why! It's probably a combination of things. The tilt and tone like you mentioned in your comment there, but it's much more than that. To favorites.

i could sit and read all that you write day in day out...not sure i am as profound as you may think...LOL...but yes, there is a complexity about me and you seem to read it well! Thanks...sitting at a sidewalk cafe with you discussing whatever over java or a cool one would be just a day well spent,my friend!

Glad you like this one and was curious what exactly appealed to you? One of my faves, too, because of tone and tilt...

It's often hard to comment on your photos because they often seem so profound, so heavy with meaning. Even when you just did "the photographer's 360" the result seems to make a major statement. There's a bold, low frequency vibration that hints of a threat. They seem to say, "Be careful here. This is not a place for the frivolous or uncomitted." I like that.
