I agree with the comments above regarding exposure and the hands... For my part, I think I would have liked a tighter crop that eliminated some of the dark background above and on the right. Regardless of whether or not she's wearing clothes, your model is quite beautiful and her face and especially her eyes are very captivating in photos.

I think the angle of this shot exagerates her hands making them appear very large. She seems to be floating in a void - this may be what you wanted to accomplish. Just my 2 cents worth.

I like my pix to be a bit over-exposed to get a look like this sometimes- kind of alabaster- takes away blemishes and reduces to the essence- in this case the skin and eyes- i consider the silhouette secondary but I understand your critique and appreciate others' tastes. The title refers to my observation that it is sometimes hard to get views/comments here on non-nude subject matter. Thanks! Niall

Personally I find images of women who are clothed (but wearing clothes that suggest of intimacy) much more interesting than nudity.

I am however not an expert in any way on portrait and people photography, so you are welcome to ignore my views.

In this photo I like the womans face and the attractive corset she wears. However the skin below her face and along her arms and hands is so "overexposed" that the absence of detail is slightly annoying.

The darkness of her trousers which I can barely see is also somewhat difficult to understand. I'm not sure if you are trying to get her legs to dissapear into the background. If you are it hasn't succeeded and if you aren't it is difficult to see what she is wearing.

Is that enough comment?

Neil
