Thanks Mihir Shah for additional comments. As you pointed out, yes, I have to work around the limitation of the camera. Yes. "Keep shooting" would be the words. Regards.

very nice picture painsama. esp considering you shot it with the coolpix. good use of the depth of field. the only thing in my opinion is that there are too many dew drops. i would crop out the bug dew drop in the lower part of the frame.
nice shot. my compliments.

Thanks Margaret and Neil for your comments and suggestions. Those are really such great tips for me. And thanks for cropping the picture Margaret, it really gave the main drops a good focus. Regards.

Hi there, many thanks for your comment which brought me to your portfolio. I really like your Bio by the way. It is similar to my own approach or at least that is also what i try to do. Here you have tried something where there is quite a bit more to it than meets the eye! The one drop is perfectly in focus, but the others not. IMO it is better to have either all, or nearly all of them in focus - which means keeping the camera parallel to the subject to maintain enough DOF, also using a tripod and having enough light are also important. Or having enough difference between the drops to enhance the contrast between them. (i mean contrast in terms of picture element). I think Margeret has a good point here!
You these photos which often look so easy, really are not :)
All the more reason to keep trying.
Have fun and best wishes from Swizerland Neil

painsama this is a lovely capture, the detail and colours are great. The two top droplets are excellent but as the lower part and droplet are becoming a little soft - I wondered if by cropping and tweaking a little, the eye would be concentrated on the wonderful detail - have had a go - see what you think Margaret Thank you for your comment

WOW! una macro spettacolare: le gocce sono al naturale o le hai elaborate, sembra quasi che tu le abbia selezionate e invertito il contenuto in PS. Sembra mercurio..
