Hope you don't mind mandy but I took your image and worked on it in ps. I added a glam blur and diffused glow and then darkened the flowers a bit. I personally don't seem to like the flowers in this image I would take them out but I know you like them so I took one out and left the others. I also got rid of the shadowing from the flash. The flash can be cruel on skin sometimes and for a new born his skin shouldn't look so harsh since it's so delicate and new. also added a bit of a sepia filter to give it a slight tone. hope you like the outcome of this.

sorry mandy have to agree too on the bright bold flowers. it takes aways from the baby. your eyes automatically get drawn to the flowers.

I'm sorry I have to agree with Monique. The flowers are too bright for this type of photo. Maybe try desaturating the flowers a little and see how that looks.

Beautiful newborn picture! Great side profile of the newborn skull form, too! There's so many definitions to describe the look of this! This is definitely is outstanding work!

IMO the blue of the flowers is much too bright against the newborn baby but other then that its a great photo
