Wise choice! All those millimeters of focal length may not be enough to give you time to get away safely, not alone keep your valuable equipment out of jeopardy ... You're living dangerously missy! .. I love the sharpness (especially the eyes), the oversized green water lily and the spatter of green around the croc's mouth (camouflage?) .. he's so still there's not a ripple in the water ... watch out .. he's showing his teeth .. looks hungry!!! some of the best shots are from the car, or the hide as our european friends call it. But getting the 600 out the window and steady must have been a project ?

Great capture Darlene, come on Darlene 600mm you would be able to get out of your car, lay down and get a shot from his perspective have a cup of coffee and get back in your car before he got anywhere near you
