Not really brave Gab, I was safely tucked in my car with the door closed, the window was open but if he would have moved a piece of duckweed I would have been out of there! Thaanks for all the kind words and I will be careful!! Darlene

Wise choice! All those millimeters of focal length may not be enough to give you time to get away safely, not alone keep your valuable equipment out of jeopardy ... You're living dangerously missy! .. I love the sharpness (especially the eyes), the oversized green water lily and the spatter of green around the croc's mouth (camouflage?) .. he's so still there's not a ripple in the water ... watch out .. he's showing his teeth .. looks hungry!!! Great capture... Darlene, you're simply great ...Gab

some of the best shots are from the car, or the hide as our european friends call it. But getting the 600 out the window and steady must have been a project ? jimc

mind you, you may have to look out for the partner who is probably lying in wait for someone to do something like that. LOL :)

Nice capture with the reflection. I really like the detail of the two teeth jutting out of the water. Eric
