Thanks Don. You actually can't get any closer than the foot of the mountain Don. A bus drives you there from the visitor's center. I don't remember the exact number off the top of my head, but I think there are only 8 people working on it. Being privately funded they just do what they can when they have the money. When I went there were a lot of people there, $8 to get in (per person) $4 if you took the bus ride (per person). They have to be making a decent amount at this point; maybe we'll see it get done, but don't hold your breath!
