About Lets see who the smarty pants are...who will be first to guess correctly? C'mon Jase, I bet its you...

Someone very wise hammered into me that if you're going to shoot something common, find the 'unseen'. Hope I've done so here.

Gorgeous close up Peta! At first I thought it was a white pelican, but on second look not sure! Whatever he is, you've captured him in a way no one else has.........beautiful image!

Hello Giulio, thank you very much. Its not so much an 'outbrake' just had the time available for my creativity for a change. I am always in trouble with my husband for working long hours in my regular job, but I recently had holidays and put lots of time into shooting. I guess its paid off :) thank you again, for your kind words as always!

Peta,

I am no expert, but I do think this is a pelican, from the skin under the beak. Whatever it is, you have found a very nice and interesting detail.

Where did you find such a tame bird? You must have got real close!

Wonderful Shot Peta! From the looks of the eye, this bird resembles a parrot of some sort.
Even If im wrong, I still love the quality of this shot, the details of the feathers and the depth of the colors are awesome. Way to go!
