What I like most in here in addition to the expression of the man is what written on the hat... so clear and wonderful.
Thanx for sharing this series Patrick, you're really wonderful.
Khaled.

It was abit tricky as they moved/dances while they sang to get a good shot. Thank you for your comment Tony!

Aye its a big difference with using an analog camera with bw film then converting digital color to bw in ps. Im glad you liked the colorversion and thank you for the cheer (about my bday) =)) Better late then never! hehe =))

Cheers

Great shot, Patrick! I think this is a brilliant portait.
Since I re-discovred B&W film, I have realised the immense difference between converting a colour shot in to B&W and an original B&W film shot. I was so amazed by the tremendous contrast and tonality with film. So I have become more picky about B&W conversions. I therefore have to say that I prefer the original in colour. I think the ruddy complexion comes out very well with colour too.
BTW happy bday, I know its late, but I have been away for a while!

Un bellisimo ritratto, ottimo anche il taglio, forse io avrei tagliato pił stretto a sinistra. I colori sono molto ricchi.

A fine portrait / candid, Patrick.
I think I marginally prefer the colour version but, for me, it's the composition and clarity that make it and they're spot on!
Best regards, Chris
