Well captured Teresa. The background is usually a bit of a problem , but in your photo it is not too bad.Your lens is a very good one....but when you add a teleconverter you gain magnification but loose a lot of crispness. In my opinion it is better to move a little closer by using an extension tube( for closer focussing).

You have very nice detail in the lacy wings.. The light colored area doesn't seem to bother me that much. If it had been brighter it might be troublesome. Don.
