actually, I saw the strong contrasts and manually cranked down to -2 EV to make sure I didn't lose the details around the sun, Carsten.

Well, I think your 20D was clever to expose for the highlights ;-) You would have missed the nice sun area (blown out in Program mode, I suppose), and the lowkey tones are quite appropriate here ! Nice one

Actually, my 20D was on aperature mode, and I didn't notice until I looked at the shots at home. ;)
