San Antonio is a very photogenic place, not just the historic Alamo but along the river, too. This is a fine shot, although I think it needs to be rotated just a tad anticlockwise to straighten everything up. (The zoo has some fine views, too!)

I've only been here once and there was some major construction going on, so I wasn't able to get a good view of the Alamo.

Thanks for the comments George. You can shoot at night. The grounds are not locked up and you do have access to the main church. Enjoy yourself.

Hi Ron!! This is one of the better images I've seen of the Alamo. The perspective is just ideal. Do you know if it is possible to photograph here at night? I'm thinking that painting this special landmark with light could give some pretty impressive results.
