Thankyou so much for taking the time to comment on my pictures. I am a real novice, and both pic's came out well by good luck rather than good managment. It will be long time before I am to your standard, but I intend to keep trying. Thanks again Jill

Hi Jill,
Nice stop action shot here, I don't see these monsters often but when I do I never seem to be able to capture all of the rotor blades. You've got them good here. Just a little tip I've found useful. When shooting anything in the sky try overexposing by about 2 stops by setting your EV to +2. It will burn out the sky but give more detail to the subject. Not saying that you haven't got the effect you were looking for here with the silhouette, just a tip.
