Although quite a lot of people take photographs of clocks.

Over the years, I have been told in no uncertain terms and many times that this photograph and others I did like it are pointless, so it is nice to bump into someone who shares a small chunk of my fascination!

Anyway, for me, standing adjacent to a parking meter was the highlight of my day out that day, so it had to be photographed.

Unusual to see one of those the subject of a portrait. We should move them all off the street into dimly lit galleries as an...art project...Can't be fined if it's art... Seriously though, the sharpness and harsh metal textures in the parking meter contrast really nicely with the reflections in the background. A good photo where not too many people would think to look for one.
