About Today, we were given a bit of a shock. My wife had some weird pregnant related things happening to her body, so we were in a hospital room for a couple hours today. While she was there, some fairly large contractions started... the first ones which pain was associated... But nothing yet, she's at 3cm right now. They sent us home, with an appointment Tuesday. We shall see what comes. :)

Very sentimental capture-and the story behind the image helps. The mommy often gets overlooked! Way to go;)

I'm pretty much a photo nut. Sometimes my wife says my camera has grown roots into my hands and it permanently attached. :) I took my cameras with me when our kids were born, but I didn't take any photos during the whole time. Only prox 1 hour after they were there I took a couple of photos. I was way too much invovled and didn't want to take photos.

David,
Thank-you very much! Welcome back, officially! :)

My wife is fine, she has grown 10 cm around in the last month, and mobility isn't the best, but she's doing very well, and has a great attitude about it all! Very impressive in fact! :)

I'm sure you will know plenty of the events as the unfold... My camera seems to be on my shoulder at all times, ready to leap into action anymore. :)

Thanx again for your kind words!

I really like the style you have developed lately. Very interesting and works great with the selective framing. This is a great example again! What a wonderful shot!

I hope your wife is doing fine. I almost envy you a little for the great moment you have coming! :)

Yes, I'm officially back from vacation. I'm going though all the photos of all my friends here and try to catch up.

Thank-you so much, Susie!

Nah, she's used to the camera being in her face all the time by now. She doesn't even hardly notice it anymore. LOL.

She calls me her POP-arazzi. hehe

Thank-u Magnus,
Yes, the eyes are definitely the focal point of this photograph, with the subtle surroundings that make it obvious where she is.

Some may not like the extreme contrast to the eyes, but it was my way to get the point across. :)

Thanks, again!

hehe, thanks Paul, I think. ;)

She's right at 37 weeks... But with twins, it could be any minute. :) I'm really amazed she's lasted this long without delivering! I'll keep you all posted. :)

Given the nature of the shock, it's amazing that you took this. I'm impressed with the jounalist in you, Klifton.

How far along is she?
