Wow Julie! You captured so many details - every piece of baby fine hair is sharp and jumping from the page. I love the old time coloring! p.s. - I like your image better too =) I bet you can tone down the hotspots with a little cloning work in PS. Hotspot or not - excellent work!

Great shot Julie... has an almost victorian feel to it with the toning, the pose and the vignetting. In some ways the vignetting looks as though you're looking through a telescope - a cool effect! Well done and a great portrait!

Incredibile: con questa foto hai fatto un enorme passo in avanyi con il ritratto e l'elaborazione grafica: mi piace molto il tono seppia e l'alone nero intorno al soggetto che ha una messa a fuoco perfetta e si esalta rispetto allo sfondo giustamente sfocato.

I dunno, Mark... If this picture was burned out in the arms, etc. from the beginning... I would venture to say that Julie did the right thing, by going with a high contrast look. Which actually makes the highlights look not so out of place... If they weren't blown out in the beginning, then Julie is just an art genius!
How was that for a Mr. Professor opinion? ;)

This is an excellent portrait of vicki , hope you dont mind but ive had a bit play about with it in PS-7 , cropped it and played about with the levels and colours , then used the dodge and burn tools on her hair . well done , i love the tones on yours .. cheers .. marky x

Amazing tones, great pose, and the selective lighting is great! A bit washed out for my taste, but still very nice and unique! Good job!
