Mary,

I don't know why, exactly, it's a different colour. I would venture a guess based on a couple of factors. First, most of the buildings are made of stone and are not painted. Second, it is the centerpiece of the dock, where dignitaries are welcomed to the fort. There may be other reasons as well. You never know.

The yellowish tower amid all the other grey buildings is intersting. Do you know why it is a different colour?
