Hi Tabitha, many thanks for your comment on "St. Tropez". it is actually an older shot and had not recieved a comment for almost a year :). I reworked it and reposted for the "best of 2004" project where i was able to get the sky a little better. Unfortunately one cannot choose which photos get displayed on the fp :) I like your photos from NZ, i used to live in Dunedin and my sister still lives in Wellington. That is what attracted me to the hutt valley photo. I attended many courses fro work in the Hutt Valley at Avalon. Do you know it?
Best wishes Neil

What a view!!! I like the vertical orientation, it allows the eye to follow the entire composition using the river as the guide. The oversaturation of the water is interesting, I think it adds a bit of an abstract element... Well done Tabitha!!! -- Cheers, Rafael

You live in a very beautiful part of the world. This is a strong vertical format shot, with nice lines to follow throughout,

Must admit bud, apart from this original being a bit dark(probably cos it's small) I much prefer this version to the blue(r) version.

Hi bud, thanks for checking it out, thought you should look at the original, totally virginal cept for a resize! I'd be interested to see what others feel about the blue river version or should I have left it as classic? LOL ;O)

Really good shot but I've got to agree with Antonio, the blue doesn't look real. What a fantastic place though

Thanks Antonio for looking and commenting on ths pic, i have increased the saturation slightly to enhance the river as it was midday light, i wanted the viewer to follow the river so i thought it needed to be abit brighter than the rest of scenery, Regards )

quite nice vertical panorama; it recall me some shot of mine not published here 'cause it was summer and the river was almost dry, too dry to be presented :) here the blue of the river water seems to be strongly saturated detracting a bit though
