hi Mark...thanks for looking. this is one that i walked past about 100 times before it dawned on me to get a photo...it's in the parking ramp of my apartment. i shot it just in time though, cause they just cleaned and repainted, giving it a bit less character. adios!

You have arranged the elements well Todd. Those yellow lines are everywhere. Love em or hate em they sure add another dimension to street shots. Thanks for all your recent comments on my work. Much appreciated from a fellow photog with a good eye for composition. Regards John

hi Thilo...looked at this image at work today and the tones look a bit poopoo. i like your yellow so much better. i just re-calibrated my monitor to hopefully match a local print lab, so that may be an issue too.

Hi Todd, good perspective and capture of textures, as well as a well balanced composition. As a study of shapes and geomerty, textures and tones, it's very proficient, but I think the photo could do with a more specific promary subject. Something that catches the eye, so to speak. I like it, though.

Cheers,

Hugo

o this I like - it's not just the usual Miller-Geometries but also the pointing out of neglected space - the showing that this area at the foot of these stairs are quite something to behold - like the yellows and the star of rust.

You've brought an unwieldy comglomeration of elements under aesthetic control...or in other words, "cool, dude!"..:)
