owen,
i don't think i've ever tried to make anything look like the work of a specific photographer (famous or not), maybe just involuntary. i probably have in the back of my mind a little of everything that i've seen and liked and i combine it with my own style (if any) and then apply it to my work. the processing is always done according to my mood at the time, i usually don't have a plan or a specific idea in my mind. this photo would look different if processed any other day, in fact i've ignored it completely til now. it's part of the same photo shot as "under the spell", just a different way of looking at it. so there's not going to be a series. or, who knows... :)
P.S. owen, thank you for all your comments.

Rada:
This is wonderful. The expression is fantastic and the sepia tone is perfect. We all try to make portraits look like the work of Edward Steichen and you sre one of the few that has made it work. Please keep this up and I hope it is a series that you will share. I wish I had taken this one. Bravo.

Hansi, spacial thanks to you for being around all the time :), it's always interesting (to say the least) seeing my photos through your eyes. Hamdy, traveling was never easy for me, but since we're on the subject, I can tell you that Morocco and India have been on top of my "must-see" list for a while now. Hopefully someday...
Thanks everybody for stopping by.

Wow! The tone really gives this photograph a classic / vintage look. On first glance I thought it was Kate Winslett (Looks Like Her), the expression & the way the hair was captured is intriguing. The soft look worked well here, nice one Rada, cheers.

Marvellous - like a silent movie star. The compo and crop lends almost supernatural qualities to the hair. Very beautiful. /H
