This capture has several elements that work so well: the B&W is excellent, keeps my attention on what's going on instead of being entertained by color; the fence is on a diagonal, and the triangular shadow behind his head not only matches his knees but also greatly help to stand out the tones in his head; all that sunshine over his head makes me think it's a halo over his head (is he an angel?); the focus and dof is ideal, including that toy car ... the object of his attention.. Great moment captured, love it in black and white..the crop is a little close on the top but not bad, I would have left just a little more space...and the tones could have a little more gradation in them..the lighting is a little strong, but hey what are you going to do, miss a picture because it's the wrong time of day..I wonder if under-exposing might help when the light is a bit strong...just thinking out loud, a wonderful capture for sure...an innocent moment capture...great work....kisses...:):)
