ottima la situazione di luce che hai trovato e hai ben gestito! hai un bel contrasto brillante sul pietrisco e tanti dettagli sulla neve del ghiacciaio

I hadn't prepared an image, Time, as I thought my description would be pretty clear, but here is what I had in mind...

Hi Chris, Yes this shot was taken a week ago and I have been living out of my Van traveling around now for a month and a half just taking photos and painting. I though HEY if I want to do this I should pack everything up and GO DO IT! and so I am. So far its been fun! who needs a house.....well at least till the winter...hmmmmmm , then I may just go south.

A nice revisit for you, Tim, and a visual feast for the rest of us! I like the contrast with the distant snowy mountains and nearby lush, green foliage, all exceptionally sharp and clear. Dave.

Great spot tim...is this a recent pic? You really make it around up north, huh? Not that I can blame you,

Since you know how much I love your photography I'll risk suggesting something I think might make an even better image. I felt the foreground was a little too prominent, dominating the mountains, so I tried trimming, and I prefer a crop just where the strong ridge diagonal hits the LHS of the frame. Somehow the balance seems a bit better. What do you think?

Hi Tim, Apart from the things I discussed before, and which I think are the proper choice given the purpose of these photos for your work, I tyhink this is definately another classic shot, made even stronger by the threatening clouds over the mountains. I think, that emphasising that even a bit more (masing the sky one more time and applying a multiply layer mode, perhaps) would balance the tonal differences between foreground and sky even more.
Cheers,
Hugo
